Firefly Funhouse Match > Boneyard Match.

For one reason.

History between characters.

Cena and Wyatt have a long history dating all the way back to the Nexus. Cena even referenced the Husky Harris character in one of his promos. A gimmicky match like this requires that sort of long history.

For me, that's what was missing in the Boneyard Match. There is no history between Undertaker and Styles to justify a Boneyard Match. It was a gimmick match for the sake of a gimmick match. And that is just stupid, in my opinion.

When the Hardy's did their equivalent of this match, it worked because of who they are! Brother who have been together in this business since the later 90s.

For me, the Boneyard Match was meh. Not because of the kind of match it was. But because of the lack of any real story between the two guys going at it.

the month long promos were so good that it made it work for me.

I'm wondering if they'll do Taker/Sting like this at some point.

Internet wrestling fans are fucking morons!

Everything I read about Wrestlemania is "wahhh, wahhh, wahhh, they buried Rhea Ripley! Wahhh!"

Rhea Ripley led the NXT Women to a Survivor's Series team win over Raw and Smackdown at the same time. Ripley and Larae basically beat Team Shayna Baszler in a 2 against four handicap War Games Match with Ripley getting the pin. Ripley dethroned the unbeatable Baszler to win the NXT Women's Championship. Ripley scored a dominant clean win over Bianca Belair when she defended the title. Ripley lost at Wrestlemania to the most decorated female wrestler in the Women's Revolution Era.

Explain to me how she got "buried".

I have become sick and tired of the word "buried".

Let me educate all the people who abuse the word "buried". It's a match. Unless you have every match end in a draw, someone has to lose. Do you want every match to end in a tie? No? Then shut the fuck up with the crying about people having to lose a match!

I just don’t get wwe fans. They like people who are maybe average at best at both ring and promo but who are still thinking they’re entitled to top card...like Owens and Becky...while hating on the real talents.

I love Becky, but i'm meh about Owens. He's entertaining, but I can't get over the fact that he looks like someone that should be cooking my Steak 'n Eggs at the Waffle House

and uh, Queen Tay slander will not be tolerated

I want something to linger from the Fiend's matches...like he collects his conquests or something. If Cena is just standing in the background of a FFFH promo looking like a zombie or something, that would be cool.

Rousey was green as fuck. She should actually consider herself lucky because the fans treated her FAR better than they treat a lot of the other women on the roster. If she thinks that was bad, she has no idea what bad is.

Probably is a work. Look for a match between Rousey and Nia Jax soon.

But, to her point, she is right. However, that entire mess is creative's fault. WWE Creative still misses the pulse of the audience.

This isn't 1984. Mr. T isn't going to be loved. He is going to be booed out of the building. You can't bring in a Rousey or any other celebrity and try to make them the babyface over a talent these people have been following since Day One of NXT.

Had they cast Rousey the way they did Shayna Baszler, as a hated heel, they'd still be printing money with Rousey's name on it.
