Night 1 starts tonight at 7pm. Kickoff shows at 6pm

Even though I watched the Raws/SD this week, I still totally forgot it started on Saturday. It feels weird having it split into two days.

I haven't seen a card yet on what matches are night 1 and what's night 2 though. Sami Zayn announced his match with Daniel Bryan is on Night 1 but that's all I know right now. They did finally announce a change to the SD Tag Title match. It's now Morrison vs Kofi vs Jimmy Uso in a Ladder Match for the Tag Titles.

Atrocious finish....

You better let Rollins win if you let his trash broad win.

rollins and ownens was good until the end.

not much of a move there onto the table.

And rollins delivered about 5x more punishment....i'm not a fan of those matches.

Probably until they get back into doing arena shows in which case they’ll either have him lose it to Roman or The Fiend.

Goldberg was always supposed to be a transitional champion, it’s just the person he lost to changed when Roman pulled out.

Bleacher Report gave it a B and they made a good point.

There was a alot of "playing to the crowd" in it.

Kofi, Morrison, and Jimmy Uso say hold my beer...

I'm going to use a line I heard describing HBK/Razor WM10.

" Those man had a match with a ladder... There just happened to be two other men in their."

My review and Grade:

There were some duds, Elias/Corbin and Owens/Rollins, but it delivered like it should and more. 2 4 star matches, a 5 star and a Young kid who has good potential on a prove it as a Transitional World Champ.

A- IMO

boneyard match...aka a better movie than anything cena’s done in Hollywood...

Taker/Styles: I'm a purist that hated the "Ultimate Deletion" matches. This had a somewhat different feel to it but still kept that type. I enjoyed it.

4/5

Women's tag titles match got downgrades to 4/5

I actually really liked night 1. Haven’t watched Raw or Smackdown without a crowd but it was pretty solid. And damn, the Taker/Styles match was better than any Hollywood fight scene.

Night 1 ended up being really solid. I liked everything but the obviously predictable dud of Elias/Corbin. Goldberg/Braun was shitty but its a Goldberg match so you knew it was gonna be short and shitty anyway. And even though its like 2 or 3 years too late, at least Braun can say he was champ. KO/Rollins was really good.I liked how they talked shit to each other throughout the match and how it worked with all the build/promos they had done. Ladder match was match of the night. You knew those 3 (especially Morrison and Kofi) can put on a hell of a ladder match. Boneyard match was fun for what is was. You gotta know going in that its not something super serious. Just relax, go with the flow and have fun with it.

Saw some fan talk on Twitter that WWE just realized they can keep Taker on Mania using these pre-taped matches for years to come since it hides all his age related weaknesses. They should give us that Sting vs Taker match in Boneyard 2.

Yes there was in the women’s title match.

it’s kinda funny.

Jeff Hardy did it on smackdown when he came back and I thought It was hilarious. I mean it’s silly, but I’m not taking that many points off the match for it.

funny thing about that WM10 comment:

1) most people at the time thought the idea was stupid and asked what they were gonna do with a ladder;

2) people say it was the first one, but Bret Hart is The Godfather of the ladder match as he won the first one in like 1993.
