Romes hit on Barrie looked questionable was it reviewed?

apparently it looked way worse than it was.
one of the bloggers mentioned that on 2nd view, he came around Barrie to hit him in the chest.

between that and being Honeybadger'ed to death, Barrie had a rough night.
