Three years ago. Four years ago. Five years ago.

The answer would have been fucking hell yes.

Of course, we were also going through a rotation of Matt Schaub, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mallett, Brian Hoyer and Brock Osweiler.

I would have taken today's Tom Brady over any of them.

But today?

Deshaun Watson. Yeah. Nah. We good at QB.

(I will resist the urge to say something about head coach!)
Wait a minute, I can get rid of the spicy chicken sandwich eating black guy that I don’t trust to run RPO plays to win games for my bests old bud......

AFC favorites, yes. hard to argue that really. you drop him in that system, as a plug and play piece?

yes, it would work and yes it would push TN to the top of the AFC with KC, baltimore, etc. the only risk with brady is his age. the risks with tannehill is he is ryan tannehill and could go back to being ryan tannehill next year.

Rock is saying that Tom Brady can singlehandedly turn the Tennessee fucking Titans into the AFC favorites.

It's almost as bad as OD saying that Marcus Mariota would carry them to glory.

When I first read it I thought he was joking. Then I saw the second post where he doubled down. I’m still curious if he’s playing a game because nobody in their right mind could possibly think 43-year-old Tom Brady can take the Tennessee Titans to the promised land.

Absolutely not. He's one of the all-time greats; there's no denying that. Having said that, the guy is going to be 43 and going into his 21st season in the league or something like that in 2020. He's clearly lost a step from what he was a few years ago, and there's nothing wrong with that given his age. He was still good this year of course, but there's plenty of cases where guys are doing well and then just fall off a cliff one year. Brett Favre is a prime example - had his best statistical year ever in 2009, then was completely washed up in 2010. And he was only 40 or 41 when he fell off after a career year. I wouldn't expect that to go much better for a guy showing obvious signs of decline as he turns 43.

Then there's the fact that Brady has been with Bill Belichick literally his entire career. Had you asked me if he'd still be good switching systems 10 years ago, I'd obviously have said yes. But switching to a brand new coach and system at 43 when he's already clearly slowing down? No thanks. The only way I could see it if it was a team that was primed for a title run in every way from the coaching staff to the players aside from QB, and in a system that would fit him exceptionally well. Also would need an elite offensive line. Can't be rolling a geriatric 43 year old immobile QB out there with anything short of top-tier protection.

Same with Drew Brees. Had you asked me if I'd have wanted to sign them for a hopeful title run 2 years ago, I'd have probably said yes. But it's 2020, not 2018. Their time has pretty much passed. Especially when you're talking about guys who have been with the same head coaches in the same systems for 15-20 years.

Are you kidding? Can you imagine the shitshow when Tom Brady is suddenly, for the first time in his career, forced to play with a less-than-stellar OL?

Pats O-line wasn’t stellar this year, not even close ... Can’t be much worse

Nope. Brady needs to go to the right type of team and the Redskins aren't that team.

I would take him on the Colts right now...decent to good defense. Phenomenal O-line. Good Running game with Mack. Move TY to the slot to be his Edelman. Drop the kid from Ohio St at 13 to be the number 2 receiver. Pick up AB to be the number #1. Colts are instant contenders.

Add to that Frank Reich would know how to utilize him. Not so sure about AB though. Dude's got about one marble rolling around in his head these days.

If not AB, some other free agent WR to be the number 1. Can you imagine though a guy with TY Hiltons speed being the slot guy with a LB trying to guard him? You thought Edelman was shifty...damn.

Actually think that could be a decent fit

Tom Brady couldn't take the Tennessee Titans to the practice field.

Brady is going to retire . He told my people's people that now that he knows that you stopped watching the NFL, no sense to keep playing. He also wants to thank you for your 20 years of support and fandom, and next jersey is on da house, and it will be signed

Hammer been on a road trip, looking for a friend who got a new job with the Federal Agency. He talks, they listen and pay him for it and even for his new accommodations. figured he would be easy to find, only wearing Peyton gear, in 3rd world countries
