To be clear...I think his frame could handle it. But that doesn't mean he can actually gain weight. Some folks just can't.

I have an adult nephew whose so underweight that it has actually caused h's health issues for him. He eats like he's on death row and it's his last meal, and just can't gain weight.
I hear ya... I happen to be one those... I don't eat particular well, and it doesn't matter... I just can't put on any weight.

its like the say in the law--- if you dont have the facts on your side argue the law---- if you dont have the law on your side argue the facts--- and if you dont have either yell and scream and pound the table.

Lol, you're still pretending you're a lawyer? After that hilarious meltdown you had a few months ago?

they will keep their young players and resign Randle too because they will all take $12 million a year for the priviledge to play for the Lakers.

I am trojanfan12 and I approve this message. :dhd:

KD put on a few, not a lot.

But, enough....

@Shaqdaddy11 gonna laugh in all your faces when the Lakers are starting LeBron, PG, Kawhi, James Harden and Anthony Davis next year, with Giannis, Westbrook, Embiid and of course Ingram and Kuzma off the bench because they are that damn good.
dude you really think Giannis could supplant Kuzma from the starting lineup? I dont fucking think so. Giannis gonna be 6th man of the year- but its Kuzma dude. cmon. You should know better.

I think it is entirely possible that the Lakers will bring in PG and/or Lebron. That probably WON'T happen and I'm not even sure if the Lakers are better off with that happening right now or not. That would almost certainly mean that Randle leaves. And it would change the chemistry of the team dramatically so unless it meant that the Lakers were a title contender next year, I don't know if it would be worth it to sign both of them.

Signing both would make them a contender. Signing just one, would not.

I do agree with your point about the chemistry of the team. That's why whether they get any FA's or not...I'm good with it either way.

The more I think about it, the more I think Kuzma will take LeBron's spot in the starting line up. Being tied for the team lead in scoring, on a 35 win team, means you're awesome.

Yeah, if Ingram can do the same, he'll be fine.

KD and Anthony Davis have the same issue. Ingram will never be a bruiser, he just needs to be able to hold his ground like those 2 now can.

I'm merely laughing at the idiots who take things too seriously on a message board.

Tlance gets his panties in a bunch when anyone doesn't agree with him. God forbid someone make a comment that he doesn't like. If it wasn't for the fact there are bigger pussies on the Politic Forum, he'd be in the running for #1

I never said the Lakers WILL sign all three, I said it's not impossible. And not one single person can claim otherwise.

It's not impossible, you're right. It's just retarded.

That kind of thinking is a big part of why they couldn't sign anybody when Short Buss was running things. So far, Magic and Pelinka seem to be smarter than that.

It's never good when your GM acts like a homer fan.

LA is definitely a draw. So is New York. And Miami. But so is winning and that one is a much bigger one.

Hmmm. Maybe. I think it would make them a contender for WCF defeat. Without a big step up from the young guys, and assuming that Randle left, the Lakers roster with Lebron and PG seems a lot like the Cavs roster but you replace Love with PG and the over the hill but experienced guys on the Cavs with the young and inexperienced guys on the Lakers. Lakers would be even thinner than the Cavs.

Yeah I think you should trust what Magic & Co are doing. They seem to have a plan. I don't think they would mortgage the future to bring in two vets and make an unlikely run.

LaMarcus Aldridge showed what the Lakers pitch was about when he said after the meeting that he wanted to talk about basketball and they were pitching Hollywood.

For players today, LA is still a draw, but they also know they don't HAVE to go there for marketing purposes.

It's more of a tiebreaker now. Everything else being relatively equal, being in LA gives the Lakers an edge. But things need to be a lot more equal now than they used to.

Completely agree with that.

I don't think it would necessarily require a big jump. Natural progression should be enough. Ingram was much better this year than last. Should be able to continue that.

Because of how he plays, Lonzo doesn't really need a big jump as far as his passing, rebounding and defense. He still needs to improve his shot, but the presence of Lebron and PG would remove much of the urgency.

Yeah I think you should trust what Magic & Co are doing. They seem to have a plan. I don't think they would mortgage the future to bring in two vets and make an unlikely run.

Yeah, Magic basically said it's land a whale or 2 this off-season or wait until next off-season. He said they aren't going to spend money just to spend money.
