pretty surprised that the Desmond HR was the only HR in this series, though wasn't too surprised Ian HR'd. Darvish and Hamels will be nice to have back to back the rest of the way, if they stay healthy

Probably wouldn't be a shorter season just more off days. Would think it would be injury related. Less stress on the starters, I guess.

I don't mind staying in the division if they would go back to a balanced schedule. If you are going to have wild cards I think a balanced schedule is more fair. I also am in favor of going back to one wild card team per league.

I mean if we're spitballin' here, I'd be for:

DH in both leagues
no more interleague play
154 game schedule
longer ASG break
subtracting both Florida teams
re-aligning the leagues into two divisions
keep the same number of playoff rounds, but Division A winner plays Division B runner up (and vice versa) in ALDS/NLDS, winners play in ALCS/NLCS. Division winner gets HFA in DS, best record gets HFA in CS (head-to-head is 1st tie breaker, coin flip is second)
