Cubs have played more day games over the last couple years than any team in MLB it seems. It is almost like they forgot they added the lights Aug 8, 1988?

Oh yah, gotta see Wrigley!! Might as well see the ChiSox while you're in town, but get the hell out of that area after the game.

Wrigleyville has a lot of bars and clubs and the combination of Friday night revelers and a Cubs crowd might just be too much. The city forces the Cubs to bend over backwards to try to keep the residents around Wrigley from squawking.

He needs a complete evaluation done on the back. If nothing of concern is found, run his ass out there and play ball. Beltre has shown what a leader does when he feels minor discomfort and probably we have too. So if Choo is not suffering more than a little stiffness he should be out on the field being a leader.

The injury concerns are beginning to mount again, at least for me. I know Kela is back today and Darvish is expected tomorrow, but Holland and Lewis worry me some. Choo cant seem to stay in the lineup for long, AJ seems could go down with something again, and we are seemingly pretty thin with proven SP depth all of the sudden. Im concerned a bit that Darvish might have another extended DL stint and hopefully our BP arms all hold up. Just being worrisome, I guess. Ready to get the rest of the season underway, and hopefully it all goes our way

So Martinez might replace Lohse as he still has some issues. I know the pitching schedule Lohse was on played it out this way but would rather have seen Lohse replace Chi Chi and not Martinez. Realistically Martinez should have had 2 wins.

The Diekman DL move is retroactive so he is eligible to come back on the 21st.
