We all know Vegas never wrong. The Tigers have the worst World Series odds in all of baseball next year according to Vegas.
Yes, I'm totally butthurt because a manager of a team I don't root for blew Game 7 for them. . .
I know I've read some of your posts before, but I can't remember if they were as retarded as this. Can anyone else on here shed a little light on Monty's ability to put together cogent posts?
Tool, please! I've forgotten more about baseball than you'll ever know.
it's not that Las Vegas is never right, but being professional gamblers, know how to fix the odds so that even when you're right, you still loseWe all know Vegas never wrong.
Assmuss gone! That's a 14 game swing for tigers
Plus. Tigers moving left field fence is 6 inches
Interesting article today, which exposes Darvish who was tipping was likely tipping his pitches to the players. The analysts figured out what kind of a ball he was going to throw because of how he held the ball. In short the Astros players figured this out and picked him off easily. In the first game, Darvish pitched, he was taken out quickly and the Dodgers went on to hold them to the one run and win the game. I now have less respect for Darvish and a player.

Well first of all, He doesn't know me and I doubt he cares what any one thinksLess respect. That's funny. I'm sure he'll have a horrible nights sleep knowing that he's lost your respect. . .
That said, while he might have been tipping his pitches -- which can happen to the best of them, there was speculation that Verlander was tipping to the Indians earlier this year when they tagged him for 7 ER in 3+ IP -- Darvish was just not pitching well.
I went back and watched innings 1 and 2 of Game 7 last night, and he was all over the place. He wasn't locating his fastball and his breaking pitches were hanging, mostly up in the zone.
Take a look at this gif of what his pitches do when he's on.
Then go back and watch his work in Game 7 and try to tell me that the main problem was tipping pitches. It wasn't. Whether he was tipping pitches or not, by the 2nd inning, the Astros' historically potent lineup knew he was throwing two types of pitches - junk outside the zone, or meatballs (unlike @Montalban, those meatballs didn't talk) - and they handled him as such.
Frankly, I question any writer who watched Darvish and is suggesting that his main problem was tipping pitches.
Further, after re-watching those innings last night, I double-down on my assertion that Roberts' reluctance to pull Darvish likely cost the Dodgers the World Series.
First of all my comment about less respect was sarcasm. I am well aware that he doesn't give a crap about fans. I already had a dislike for his game so there really wasn't any respect left to loseLess respect. That's funny. I'm sure he'll have a horrible nights sleep knowing that he's lost your respect. . .

Vegas just lost there ass to a bettor. Bettor X took 1 casino for over 10 million. The Tigers have the worst World Series odds in all of baseball next year according to Vegas.
Yep. Now that Miggy is getting older, the steroids alone aren't doing the trick. He needs a little something extra, hence the fence move.
