Rangers Assistant GM, Ross Fenstermaker was interviewed during the Breakout Game. He was asked which Rangers prospects other than Carter and Langford did he think would make an appearances for the Rangers this year. The first two he mentioned was Foscue and Crim. He then went on to mention Wendzel, Huff and Ornelas is that order.
"The Rangers’ expected rotation has been exceptional in terms of strike-throwing this spring. The five pitchers – Gray, Nathan Eovaldi, Dane Dunning, Cody Bradford and Andrew Heaney – have combined to allow 16 walks in 44.2 innings, an average of just 3.22 per nine innings. They have struck out 45 batters, a strikeout-to-walk rate of nearly 3-to-1."
That's a good reason to not be worried about the rotation despite the media's insistence that we should be.
