If a pitcher is needed sign Mike Lorenzen for about the same amount as Cease will make.

Clevinger would be better as well.

Either one would cost you about the same somewhere is the $8M or so range. I imagine character would be a deciding factor for the team so Lorenzen could be the preferred choice...

Yeah, I think the Rangers are primed to be one of the exceptions since they barely snuck into the playoffs last year. I believe there is more talent on this team than last year's as well. The pen should be a lot better. The OF should see a lot more production.

Over the offseason there was some talk on here about the Rangers acquiring Devin Williams from the Brewers. He has two stress fractures in his back and will miss 3 months. Awful news for him and the Brewers.
