Leody will likely not improve enough to justify keeping him. Fosque would be a much better DH.Foscue with 2 more hits today including a double. He has his OPS up to .909 now.

I saw that but I just can't get excited about it. Hope he proves me wrong.Grant Anderson struck out the side in his inning of work.
I don't see Leody as a DH regardless. He's either in the outfield or not on the roster. We have too many other capable players who can DH. I think Leody's time is short.Leody will likely not improve enough to justify keeping him. Fosque would be a much better DH.
Look at how much Sborz changed from what we all thought a year ago. I was at Wilson Alvarez's big league debut, and he never got an out before being removed.I saw that but I just can't get excited about it. Hope he proves me wrong.
I agree. Was simply thinking DH is all that is left for him. He is done in my thinking.I don't see Leody as a DH regardless. He's either in the outfield or not on the roster. We have too many other capable players who can DH. I think Leody's time is short.
Yeah, probably the long man spot is up for grabs between a few guys. It could change drastically if we sign Montgomery, which the longer he stays free, the better I like our chances. If that happend, then either Bradford or Heaney would be the long man.Hopefully not Sampson. He has not been good this spring.
Got to watch game and his slider did look goodFrom Shawn McFarland:
Yerry Rodriguez dazzled: The Rangers struck out 16 batters in Monday’s loss and tied a Cactus League club record in the process. Right-handed relief pitcher Yerry Rodriguez — who struck out four batters across two innings — contributed to a quarter of that benchmark.
Rodriguez, 26, reached 98 miles per hour to freeze Miguel Sano for a called strike three in the top of the fourth and did the same with a slider two at-bats later vs. Jo Adell. He allowed a Mickey Moniak single and Neto’s home run in the fifth inning, but struck out Hunter Dozier (slider) and Jordyn Adams (fastball).
“Didn’t he look good?” Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said. “His stuff was electric at times. It was just exploding, I thought, today.”
Rodriguez pitched 13 and 2/3 innings for the Rangers last season and yielded a 7.90 ERA on 26 combined hits and walks.
“He had moments like this,” Bochy said. “So far he’s been consistent with the velocity, that’s what I like about him. The slider, he’s got better command of it, it’s a little bit sharper.”
