Wish he could have seen us win the WS. He was totally invested and 100% a straight shooter
Yes, he was. I enjoyed it when he used to do live chats during the games back when I was posting on the DMN boards, about 10 years ago or soWish he could have seen us win the WS. He was totally invested and 100% a straight shooter
Don’t see many like him any more
So deserving RIP sir
The underappreciated free agents who could deliver huge value
It’s easy to project that Shohei Ohtani is going to make a huge impact for whichever team signs him this offseason. The same goes for other top free agents, such as Cody Bellinger, Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. It’s harder to pinpoint which under-the-radar options will do the same. Wewww.mlb.com
There are a couple of relief options in this article.
Lugo, Martinez, and Manaea seem like guys who can both relieve and start. I wouldn't mind having a couple of guys like that in our bullpen next year.
We still need a closer and a long man/swing man.
He has been good. He might even be able to close on occasion.Whatis your take on Yates?
My only concern is struggled during the 2nd half of the season. He pitched 60 innings and maybe that needs to be cut down just a little. He gets alot of strike outs. Would like to know what his era was at Truist Park in Atlanta. He has been good. He might even be able to close on occasion.
It was his first full year back after Tommy John, so that might have been a factor. My only concern is struggled during the 2nd half of the season. He pitched 60 innings and maybe that needs to be cut down just a little.
Still a decent signing for the money at the back end of the bullpen
That probably would have been a reason. I like the signing because of his swing and miss rate. Thanks for the info on the TJIt was his first full year back after Tommy John, so that might have been a factor.
That is what I thought as well. Maybe his command steps up a notch. That probably would have been a reason. I like the signing because of his swing and miss rate. Thanks for the info on the TJ
This is what I was looking for but never foundFrom Jonathan Mayo:
Below is this year’s complete Rule 5 Draft order, which is dictated by the reverse order of last season's standings, unlike the amateur Draft (Rule 4), the order of which is now determined in part by a lottery.
