Loving every moment of the celebration!
You guys deserve this after all the time y'all have waited!I just saw @saddles at the parade. He was standing by the guy wearing a Ranger ball cap. lol
I was joking. lolYou guys deserve this after all the time y'all have waited!
I know, lol. But I mean you older fans especially deserve this championship since you guys have been following the team from the beginning, no?I was joking. lol
Guess you can say that. In 1972 TV was not like today. I would sit on my pickup tailgate and listen to the games with my six yr old son.I know, lol. But I mean you older fans especially deserve this championship since you guys have been following the team from the beginning, no?
BradfordDepending how our SRotation lines out, Gray could end up in the pen. Means we may have to sign a SP or two. Eovalti Montgomery, Dunning and who if not Gray and Heaney? Just thinking out loud.
Love that. First time they come to GLF I’d play that every time a certain Houston player comes to the plate
Assuming they bring back Monty, Bradford's still going to get plenty of opportunity to start given the age and injury history of most of the starting rotation. Wouldn't be a bad idea to use a six man rotation as a form of "load management".Bradford
Lot of "IF's" if you ask me. 1.will we resign Monty 2.Is Scherzer fully recouped? 3.Gray remains a question, he stayes injury prone. 4. What is Heaney's status?Assuming they bring back Monty, Bradford's still going to get plenty of opportunity to start given the age and injury history of most of the starting rotation. Doubt they go 6. If they re-sign Montgomery, they’ll open the season with a normal 5-man rotation of Scherzer, Eovaldi, Montgomery, Dunning and Gray. They’ll have a problem if Heaney decides to stay with the team about what path to goAssuming they bring back Monty, Bradford's still going to get plenty of opportunity to start given the age and injury history of most of the starting rotation. And let’s not forget Eovaldi and Dunning. I guess we could pass on Monty but if Heaney opts in that still leaves us with 5 starters. What a conundrum. If we sign Monty & Heaney opts in, we’ve got 6 starters, do we move 2 of them to the pen so we can start Bradford?Lot of "IF's" if you ask me. 1.will we resign Monty 2.Is Scherzer fully recouped? 3.Gray remains a question, he stayes injury prone. 4. I'm not sure about the health conditions of Gray and Scherzer so we don't know for sure where they stand now. Eovaldi, Bradford and Dunning will be starters. Not sure about the rest. And let’s not forget Eovaldi and Dunning. I guess we could pass on Monty but if Heaney opts in that still leaves us with 5 starters. What a conundrum. I don’t share your assumptions about Scherzer and Gray especially for the start of the season. I agree with you about Eovaldi and Dunning. Scherzer was not himself in the ws. His velo was way down. We do not know at this time he will be any better. Gray was out a lot this year with injuries. That has to be a concern.I don’t share your assumptions about Scherzer and Gray especially for the start of the season. I agree with you about Eovaldi and Dunning. I think Bradford starts in AAA

I agree. We had 10 pitchers start games this season and only one of those was a 1 inning starter. And look at how handy some of those starters were in long relief during the playoffs...
If you look at the stats you'll find 31 players pitched in Ranger games this season, you can never have too much pitching just have to figure out how to best utilize it...
Yep. They’re saying he won’t be pitching until 2025.Maybe to DH but not to pitch
