It was very ,very dumb to pinch run for Heim and have to put a AA batter in to catch. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Bochy that was awful.

That is why Hedges should not be on the roster. He is terrible at the plate. He is nothing more than a Clubhouse Jester.

I have to disagree with that. He wants a ball hit into the gap to be able to tie the score with a faster runner in Smith on 1st. No point looking down the road for what could happen. My only thought is why don't we have Huff sitting on the bench instead of Hedges.

AZ is scary if Heim can’t throw out their runners. Singles and walks turn into doubles.

The Giants have the 3rd best catcher at throwing out runners attempting to steal (after Moreno and Heim) and the D-Backs stole at will against him.
