The 2003 Jetta my daughter had and my 2001 A4 both had the 1.8T.

Aside from being only 170 hp, they were solid engines while we had them.

My 06 A4 was 1.8T too and likewise had no issues but my understanding was the engines made in the 2010's had the issues.

Had the Red Bull's driveshaft not broken, I am not sure even the halo would have helped a lot. If that tire was spinning it coulda been a lot worse.

For context, that Monster Energy "M" is just above the visor which has crowdstrike on it. Like just above his forehead. His face is being pushed down and his head forward.
