Not sure about Hungary, but for sure Yugoslavia. Look at the Croatia and Serbia teams, add in guys like Pjanic from Bosnia Herzegovina and they'd be one of the most stacked teams in the world.

Knew an old German guy. He swore that if Yugo had better coaching they would win the WC. He said they were always Germany's toughest opponent.

Brazil should at least hang on for a win.

Mexico will be so heated.

All they had to do was lose by 1 goal and they would have a date with Switzerland.

Instead they likely will play Brazil

Didn't think Germany would be knocked out so soon. Had them winning the tournament.

If you watched their friendlies recently you could see it coming. They couldn't score then, can't score now. No ideas on offense. Midfield horrible. Bye bye to Muller, Khedira, Boetang, Hummels, Ozil, Neuer, Gomez for sure. I still have faith in the future for Kimmich and Werner and even Goretzka. Kimmich was way out of form for what ever reason, and Werner just couldn't get the right opening. I don't know. I heard there were camps on the team. Bling-Bling camp: Ozil, Boateng, Khedira, Draxler. Bavarians: Muller, Neuer, Kroos, Hummels. Bling-bling wanted Sane and Bavarians didn't. Overall just horrible chemistry, slow of foot, no imagination and in the biggest issue no desire.

Now I am rooting for Sweden...my father's side of the family. Mother's side was Germany / Poland who were diabolically bad and have been laid to rest.

Went to get a haircut today. My barber is of Mexican descent. We started talking about the World Cup and I asked him if he had heard the story that when Mexico had played Germany earlier and all the Mexican fans celebrated so intensely when they scored the first goal that it actually caused a seismic anomaly that registered as an earthquake.

World Cup celebrations may have led to Mexico City ‘artificial earthquake,’ agency says

He started laughing and said he was aware of the story. He then said “Mexicans can cause earthquakes... do you think some damn wall is gonna stop us?!?!”

Everyone in the barber shop laughed for 5 straight minutes.

Hahaha

It was an instant classic!

Germany crashes out, unbelievable.

Their coach will not be able to sniff anyone else's butt for a while.

Shut it, he’s taking over for Sarachan soon. He’ll

Be our crotch sniffer soon!

The approach to that England/Belgium game will be fascinating especially if Colombia does not win the group.

Let's assume Colombia does not win the group then 2nd place in group g would face senegal or japan in round of 16 and the winner of switzerland/sweden in the quarters.

Meanwhile the winner of group G may have to play Colombia in round of 16 and if they win that game then Brazil is likely waiting in the quarter finals
