I was just reading an interesting story about problems on the German team over immigration and the number of players on the team with a foreign background. Certain members of the German team were booed in Germany. Wondering if it could be affecting their play?

Since the US is not in the WC, I'm supporting England and Germany. I have a German heritage and I watch a lot of Premier League games and I'd like to see England get at least to the last 8.

I am just going to say it after one half of watching....Belgium is grossly overrated. I have rarely seen a squad where the sum total of the parts is so much lower than the parts (players) themselves. There is just gobs of talent but they looked like lazy shit in that first half against Panama.

Yeah....I have been biased against them for four years. Not because they knocked us out, but because they were just chumps in doing it. At this point I feel its worth looking for a push at least from Panama in this game. I couldnt even entertain that an hour ago.

They sure did show to be the team they were supposed to be against Panama in the second half. That first half was garbage. I just could not see it being their year if they lapse like that again against a good team. And this is not a new knock against them at all.

Iceland for the feel good story. Denmark because they are the tallest team in the cup. I’m 6’4. So I like power and strength. (Lukaku, Diego costa, strong cenbter backs)

Embarrassing losses for all South American countries. Don’t particularly care who wins since Iceland and Denmark won’t.
Germany’s midfield are a bunch of lazy assholes. Kroos gave up that goal with his lazy attitude and refusal to retreat back.

I don’t have beef with England, we will see if they can play together. They have had such uninspiring performances the last few years.
