The complete ignorance of the comments coming from the Zimmerman verdict are astonishing...

It's like the fact he was beating Zimmerman literally to a bloody pulp wasn't a factor in the decision...laughable...

Harrison's weren't the worst comments...but might be the most ignorant.

"I'm gonna go pick a fight, and shoot a dude and see if I get away with it"

Yeah James...cuz that's what happened..

What a dumbass...

Ummm...why wouldn't you?

I never bother with it. I only pick a select few numbers in between 1 and 18, 1st and second 12. Never the zero and double zero, thats just me, they dont exist to me when it comes to the "odds".

Why are we applying gambling to this whole thing? I already have 2-1 odds that Kapernick gets arrested. I would have had Hernandez at 6-1.

Tony Romo, 15th on Jaws QB countdown...Wow...

What are his rankings based on?

15th sounds about right for Romo....Eli will be the guy over-jetered to the fucking extreme...

My odds on Ben "raping" not 1 but 2 broads in 2005 would have been 3 billion to 1. You duped me Ben.

The 0 and 00 affect the odds though...thus the point...

"getting arrested" =/= "1st degree murder"...and I'd say about every player in the NFL is around those 6-1 odds of getting arrested...history has shown us that...

And the reality is it has almost nothing to do with gangs...or gang culture in the NFL...and entirely more to do with 22 year old millionaires acting like 22 year old millionaires...

He should have fucked that chick on the left, it would have been worth the payout, he should stay more sober in these situations. What a dumbass.

Sox should get awarded that game yesterday if Colon is suspended after the AS break.

Alfredo Aceves unclaimed on waivers, removed from 40-man roster

07.14.13 at 10:19 pm ET By Alex Speier

The Red Sox announced that they have outrighted right-hander Alfredo Aceves — who was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket last week after a brief stint in the big leagues — to the PawSox. The procedural action removes Aceves from the 40-man big league roster, but perhaps more notably, it also means that the right-hander cleared outright waivers, meaning all 29 clubs passed on the opportunity to claim him at no cost (except for his split contract), despite the fact that he has options remaining.
That comes as at least a mild surprise, given the scarcity of starting pitching in the big leagues and the fact that Aceves had performed well this year out of a big league rotation, going 4-1 with a 4.45 ERA in six starts, including a three-start run in May and June when he gave up just three runs in 17 innings. However, given that Aceves has proven, at times, a challenge to fit into both the Sox and before them the Yankees organizations, the fact that he went unclaimed doesn’t represent a total shock.
According to one industry source, the Red Sox do not currently have any active plans to fill the vacant 40-man roster spot. Still, as was the case when the Sox outrighted Jonathan Diaz recently (even though he’d already been optioned to Pawtucket after a brief callup), the move gives the Sox flexibility to make a roster move (whether calling up a player who is not currently on the 40-man roster or making a trade) should they wish to do so in coming days.
