I think that is a good point.

I doubt the Bucks trade him this summer because I don’t think Giannis completely closes the door on staying long term.

But it is certainly a lot more likely now than it was a week ago.

It's a tough situation. If he refuses the supermax you almost think he's definitely gone. The haul you get for trading him now would be substantial.

So they are better off risking that he walks and trying to run it back for a title in 2021.
