This is a great move! My inside sources have said behind closed doors the team turned on him & they were heading in the wrong direction. It was time for the team to make that change. There are plenty of examples of teams changing HC's mid-season & going on to win it all. Just don't ask me about them. Also Lue had a stellar 14 year career & was a key bench player for the Lakers titles in '00 & '01, w/o him the Lakers don't win those titles. He knows how to win & the rest of the league has been put on notice (again) that the Cavs are the force in the NBA & will not be stopped!

Have you noticed that the iso ball generally happens when the Cavs are down? When they're winning and up, the ball is free flowing and multiple guys are touching the ball. This generally happens when you have guys who don't believe in the system.

I don't think the Cavs offense during Blatt's tenure is a great indication of Blatt's offense. There was definitely a lot of compromise... probably mostly from Blatt.

Yeah... I wonder how much of this was Blatt wanting to get out. The job he ended up with was not the job he signed up for. Not even close. There's been a lot of talk about him missing his family and home, too.
