I am just hearing about this and don't know what's been reported... but I would strongly caution against assuming that this is the work of LeBron. Despite what the popular rhetoric would tell you, LeBron has a history of staying out of front office decisions.

I'm not saying he wasn't behind it... I don't know.... but the narrative of LeBron controlling personel moves other than his own is made up at worst and completely unsubstantiated at best.
