Wow. The FO down there is essentially telling its players that "if you perform well, we ship you out".

Actually I think we're seeing more trades here recently than I can ever remember....definitely a sign that GMs in the NFL are taking on more of a MLB type action plan....not afraid to make a trade.

Yet the 0-7 Bengals hold on to their best asset in AJ Green...go figure.

Personally I think the Dolphins have the right idea, but only if they can parlay these draft picks into some studs. IMO they are going to go after Tua from Alabama and I think he'll be just okay as an NFL QB...this might be a 4 or 5 project if he succeeds...if no, it will take a decade to get that ship turned around.

Not convinced its the right move to firesale like that. But I'm basing that off of the Cleveland Brown's stretch of 2015-2017 drafts where they did the same thing.

2015: 12 picks
2016: 14 picks
2017: 10 picks

I don't think there's a single player remaining on the Browns from 2015, only 2 (Schobert & Higgins) from 2016, and only 3 from 2017 (Garrett, Njoku, & Ogunjobi). Granted they traded away a ton of that talent (Ogbah, Erving, Shelton, Nassib, Peppers, etc)... But still... 5 players out of 36 are all that remains!!!!! That's just unreal.

Certainly evidence to show that its VERY RISKY.

The big problem with MIA is they are letting young studs go (like Minkah) that must be replaced to go forward and we know that's not an automatic...it would be different if they were letting old studs go.

MIA should be getting 6 or 7 players in the top 100 in the 2020 draft...3 in the 1st, and 2 in the second...no question, tearing down a team and trying to rebuild via the draft is a big risk. There are some cities this effort would not be tolerated by the fan base.

I'm beginning to think that ownership is wanting to do a complete rebuild with new FO & Staff? This being the 4th season for GM Chris Gier down in Miami, so patience might have run its course with him after a few stale seasons of talent. And the Tannehill situation sort of scorned them. Will Adam Gase be a part of that rebuild or is he on the hot seat as well?

The Dolphins just sent 8 on 3rd and 20 with less than 20 seconds left in the half. I've never seen a coach do that...... Kudos to the Steelers for beating it, but wtf?

Maybe we should blame this entire shit season on Big Ben too......

After all it's because of his injury :burt:
