they go on the road week three to play northern illinois but then they come back home to play south dakota.

something tells me UNLV, Oregon State, NI, and SD isnt going to prepare them for the true Big Red

No. I admit I'm concerned about our defense after the UNLV game, but a rule of thumb in college sports: if the school has a direction in it that the state does not, they usually suck. This isn't always true, which I clarify because I don't want to get attacked by fans of the Mean Green from North Texas, but Northern Illinois doesn't scare me. Yes, they went 11-3 last year, but they lost to Iowa State, Miami of Ohio and Regular Illinois, who needed the game to make bowl eligibility. They might score on us a few times, but they won't stop us from scoring short of hurting Wilson. We have very little depth at QB at the moment.
