You feel like Indy will win the East, not Miami.

it isn't like it's etched in stone that the Heat will win it all. anyone who thinks otherwise is simply being foolish...

Here we go again with Heat fans....regular season Heat losses, no big deal. Regular season losses for other contenders, big deal.

The Heat are 32-13 through 45 games....Last year they were 31-14 through 45 games and had more losses against the good teams than they currently do

We'll see how their record compares to last season at the end of this one. I highly doubt Miami runs off another 27 game win streak like last season.

This is complete fools gold for anyone thinking otherwise.

I disagree that this game was fool's gold. OKC figured out how they need to play to beat Miami and that was to field a more athletic lineup. Perkins hardly played. The b/u centers didn't play.

Unlike Indy who can use their size to beat Miami, OKC is better off using their athleticism while leaving slow, useless players like Perkins on the bench.

Agree they won't do that but at the end of the day, this team will win at least 59 games (probably closer to 61 or 62) and will once again be in prime position to make a run to the finals

I stated the obvious. What are you talking about? One team hit their 3's and the other missed nearly all of their 3's and had a high amount of turnovers. It's not a big deal because the chances of one team hitting 16 3's and shooting 59% from 3's nightly in a best of 7 series and the other shooting 15% from 3 is highly unlikely to put it nicely. OKC had a great night shooting. Miami didn't play that bad on offense as you can see by their 51% shooting. The issue was they missed 16 3's and OKC hit 16 3's.

How are troll threads still a surprise in the NBA forum?

2nd place lol.

They can be in 3rd place and it wouldn't bother me. There's only 2 teams with fewer losses than Miami. A #1 seed doesn't guarantee you a finals birth....Just ask the 2005 Heat, 2011 Spurs, 2012 Spurs, 2011 Bulls, and many more teams who failed to make the finals and sometimes even the 2nd round as a #1 seed. #1 seed doesn't guarantee you shit. Everyone is 0-0 come the playoffs and first to 16 win

They'll be in position to make a run no doubt. Very likely that they'll have to win the last two rounds on the road though.

I wouldn't say very likely. Right now only OKC & Indy have fewer losses than Miami. It's not impossible for them to at least catch one of those teams.....And in addition to that there is no lock that OKC make the finals in the tough Western Conference

You know exactly what I'm talking about.

So I can expect Miami to shoot 15% from 3 in a series and avg 20+ turnovers while the other team will shoot 59% from 3? Does this sound likely in a best of 7? One team was hot from 3 and the other couldn't throw it in the ocean. Shit like this will happen from time to time in a 82 game season....Just happened to Indy in Phoenix last week
