Leslie O'Neal had 8 double digit sack seasons and played 2 less seasons than Peppers did. Is he top 10?
You're missing the point... it's not all about double digit sack seasons but is one part of the equation.
Julius Peppers is a very unique player in NFL history, a great all around defensive force that when you look at his career resume, not many stack up to him. He was a game changing play maker, a very versatile defensive weapon who could line up anywhere along the front 7 and dominate. He not only got sacks, he forced fumbles, got interceptions, blocked kicks, knocked down passes, scored defensive touchdowns, made 6 all pro teams and 9 pro bowls, won defensive rookie of the year, 2004 NFC conference DPOY. He has the combination of accolades, stats, and GAME CHANGING plays to stack up to near any defensive player ever. You seriously underrate what Peppers has accomplished...
