Will Goodell get fired before seasons end?

Depends if it's in the Owners interest....The owners are only loyal to money. If he can survive the scandals and still make the owners money, he will be safe. If the owners feel they will lose money because of the scandals they will cut ties with him just as easily as ripping a few squares of toilet paper to wipe their bottoms.

Goodell does the right thing first and not protect the money interest of the league. He may make it.

He does another coverup and sponsors start pulling out IMO he is gone once owners start getting money taken from themselves.

It doesn't really matter to me one way or the other if Roger is dismissed. What is more fascinating is the new age morality play this is generating. The responsibilities are being ratcheted up for those who are in the spotlight, heroes can become villains in an instant. Ownership can no longer look the other way with impunity, since their partners (fans, sponsors) are starting to learn they truly do have a voice in how things are run.
