Side question, why the Heck did the Commanders kicker keep taking his helmet off to smooth out his comb over lol?

That was weird af. I wondered if he was doing it for the camera.. making sure everyone could see the face of the guy who was about to kick the playoff game winner.. then he almost missed the damned thing.

Think it is a nervous OCD habit, he has done something similar earlier this year - that FG he missed

Three things I got out of this weekend games.......

1......I knew the Packers were operated.
2.....they needed to pay Love more money....cause you know, beating the Cowboys in last seasons playoffs are notorious for choking in the playoffs........so he has to be a top 5 qb to get that type of money. :dhd:
3.....I sure wish all the talkingheads would quit advertising as 3 straight GB qbs......he's another Jay Cutler.
Yeah the worst thing a team has to do is give top dollar to a QB like Love or Lawrence. They ain't nearly good enough to overcome the handicap it places on the rest of the roster.

Not trying to stir up anything, just more curious as I missed the early parts of the Packers/Eagles game and just saw the replay.

Has anyone heard from the NFL or any reasonable explanation, as that time, as to why that kick off fumble recovery was awarded to the Eagles?
Was it solely since the call on the field was Eagles ball and somehow not enough to overturn? Honestly the one video seemed clear that Nixon got the ball back, but I could be wrong.

Has he been doing that before? We've had so many kickers I've lost track.
At least one time that I remember, there was commentary during the game about it, it was early on in the season - feels like around the panthers time

I haven't seen anything today but lots of people saying that was a BAD call by the refs when it happened

I was kind of side eye watching and when I saw that I was like, "Oh whatever, Packers recover." And then a minute later the Eagles had the ball and I was like, "Uh, what'd I miss?" lol, from my view the Packers had it.

People were trying to argue the 'helmet to helmet' stuff, but meh. I have little sympathy with that when a RB/WR is also lowering their shoulder/head. But the fumble going to the Eagles I didn't understand.

Also congratulations @Caliskinsfan on your team’s first playoff win in forever. I only caught a little of the first and zonked out from all the emotions swirling in my head after Pack/Eagles lol
Thank you sir! This year has been magic for Skins fans

That’s very interesting, there has probably been other players that have mannerisms and ticks but nothing comes to mind immediately to that degree.

Will FG block defenses utilize this knowledge by screaming “Bro! Your hair!” immediately before snaps?

I concur. Pretty cool seeing the Commanders win a playoff game finally!

It only took 3 different team names to get there. :D :suds:

It's really upsetting they never won a playoff game as "Washington Football Team." It would've been even better if it was a Super Bowl.

That should've been cemented in history forever.
