They haven't been to the playoffs in 20 plus years and won 2 on the road to advance. What's the issue again?

Only 1 team is going to win the world series. These guys been working their ass off for months and deserve to celebrate when advancing

I agree 100%. Baseball is the only sport that celebrates with champagne showers after every round. When teams advance to the superbowl, they don't celebrate like that. You advanced, that's it!!!!!

It's a holdover from the old days when winning the pennant (your league) was considered almost as big a deal as the Series.

They lifted a huge weight off of the city and overcame a 7 run deficit (only 3rd team ever to do so) on the road to do so.

Why should you care either way? What harm does it do to you if they celebrate and have fun?

We all want more than just ending the streak. Would love to see them in the ALCS. we will enjoy every step along the way and not apologize for having fun before assholes otherwise say it is OK to do so.
