he's Nick Markakis 2.0. Will hit for a good average, get on base and hit for average power, but his bat just isn't that good for a corner OF and he isn't a viable center fielder.

Even in a "down year", Mookie still managed a 128 OPS+ and 4.2 WAR despite missing almost 1/4 of the season. Verdugo had a 106 OPS+ and 2.2 WAR.
