Nah, in-laws are here from FL. Wife's at a friends daughters wedding, older daughter is at a school event, younger one is hanging out in her room, so I'm playing good son in-law and sitting in the living room with them surfing the internet and posting, while they watch some crime show on CBS. Yeah, I don't remember anyone using it when I was a kid. My kid says it all the time now. Must be a current young adults generation thing. I kinda like it actually.

If you remember watching older shows like say Leave it to Beaver they would say it or older movies. So a gen or 2 before us and a gen after us. A lot of times is was just a formality towards an older person that wasn't their father .
