again. where in that articles does it say the Pats were videotaping the
Steelers in 2001 before the AFC championship game. The pats got busted from
taping from an unauthorized position on the field after the Jets game early in
the 2007 season.

The Pats fined $500,000 and LOST a 1st rounder.... because of a regular season Jets game. :pound:

Or the NFL learned about years of video taping and came down pretty hard during a regular season game knowing they wouldn't tarnish their product.. Go back and read the numerous articles of All Pro players from 2 different teams accusing the Pats of having their plays/ calling them out at the LOS.

I know.. it's a toss up.

Touchdown Boston College!

You were not reported as an eligible poster

See that's trolling

On the serious side again usc was still under scholarship sanctions last season. They have been playing short handed for years. They are now officially over and the Trojans will be poised and at full strength next season. Now can I get a legitimate answer instead if a bunch if oats fans avoiding the subject and talking in circles?

You Pats fans crack me up.

You really think that video taping just the Jets regular season game got you a $500,000 fine and lost a 1st rounder?

I have some gold chains you should buy as well.

You are right right I put the link directly from nfl.com for them. Didn't think he was serious that was well known news and I don't know how any fan can possibly not notice a missing draft pick :noidea:

It certainly had nothing to do with the 2001 gagging by the Steelers in Pittsburgh. I can see Troy Brown running that punt back for a TD even now! :) That was great.

They couldn't even win with Drew Bledsoe throwing wild-ass passes.

Sorry. The Steelers just weren't good enough that day.

Oy. Not sure why I bother, but if the fine and the draft pick loss WAS because of videotaping the STeelers in 2001, why did the NFL wait 6 years to render punishment?

There's one thing about being willfully ignorant. Making up facts to fit in some weird alternate universe narrative you've concocted for yourself is another.

Again. Find me one article, video, story that states the NFL punished the Pats for taping the Steelers in 2001. Just one.

Ex-Ram Warner wants NFL to expand probe of Patriots - NFL - ESPN

Oh and what's this...? Kurt Warner aka QB Jesus wanted a probe into the Spygate bullshit back in 2008..

Wow. I wonder if the Pats had Jenny McCarthy on video back then too?

Love it. You keep posting articles not about the Steelers. And not about the Pats videotaping them before AFC championship game.

So. How many articles not about the Steelers and the 2001 AFC Championship game = the pats were fined and lost a draft pick for videotaping the Steelers before the 2001 AFC Championship game? 100? 1000?

Keep going. You've got a lot of work to do.

The Spygate investigation began after the NFL confiscated tapes from Matt Walsh who recorded the New York Jets' defensive signals in the 2007 season opener.

BUT THAT WAS THE ONLY TIME IT HAPPENED!! AMIRIGHT?

After meeting with Walsh, Goodell said of a further investigation: "I don't know where else I would turn, but I reserve the right to review new information if it comes up."
Walsh sent eight tapes to the league that show the Patriots recording the play-calling signals of five opponents in six games between 2000 and 2002, one of which was the 2002 AFC Championship Game that Porter's Steelers lost to New England 24-17.
