Allen was in every trade rumor for a year and a half. If he resigned, he would have been traded for sure.

All Riley had to do was promise Ray wouldn't hear his name in trade talks and it was basically a done deal.

Celtics were using Ray as trade bait the year after they won the championship. They were using him as bait for OJ mayo, RIP/Tashawn Prince and one other team.

His total number of shots were decreased more than KG or PP.

Doc Rivers didn't like Ray.

Rondo was PO'd with Ray because Ray informed him that they might be traded

In the last year after losing to the Heat Ray was told that they were going to cut into his minutes and his role with the team. Ray said F off and took control of his life and took his talents to south beach.

Those little bitches had sour grapes because Ray didn't call them. They can go suck a D. Ray doesn't owe those punks any favors. He was traded twice and offered as trade bait. Meanwhile KG and PP were never in trade discussions once.

The 5 players on that episode reminded me of the bitches on the view. Just complaining about nothing and being entirely wrong. In the end it was a business decision for Ray and it worked out as he nailed the game winning shot the following season.

I got no ill will to Ray. he was being rumored in trades, so he bolted. He got paid squat to leave too. The issue imo was he never even called his team mates and he went to their arch enemy to collect a ring. It has some angles to what KD has done. The NBA does not have rivalries and these are some of the reasons why.

They wouldn't have liked it regardless if they told him or not, they would've found another reason to bitch then. I'm glad @bksballer89 brought up the trade rumors because I forgot all about that. Why show loyalty to a team that was consistently throwing your name into trade scenarios?

That's fine that they got upset that he didn't give them a heads up. I understand that to an extent. But I'd like to know if any of them came to his defense when the Celtics were looking to significantly decrease his role? If they didn't, then they need to stfu and consider that maybe that is at least part of why he left.
