I'm off tomorrow through April 5 for "vacation". I am getting paid about 500 a day to drink and watch basketball. My town has one of the best St Patty's Day celebrations in the country and then I turn 49 on the 18th. All this coincides with the tourney. Do this every year. My favorite time of the year

The Hawkeyes didn't make it this year. But sometimes I like it better when my team is not in it. It's more relaxing...

It doesn't always work out that I can get these 2 days off, but I got it this year.

Nah...I used to leave work early on Thursday and then take Friday off, but that was before I got married and had kids. Good times, though. I would hit a sports bar on Thursday with whomever else I could convince to leave work early. Friday I would just watch from home.

I do...although I'll be watching my 13 month old for both days(Maybe I'll drop him off at my mother in laws for a bit). Good thing for me is he usually naps between 4-6 which just so happens to be the time the gophers play tomorrow.

I would think babysitting a 13 month old and monitoring the games could work out pretty well. But I'm pretty ignorant of those types of things, even though most of my friends have kids.

I have made it a tradition to take off these 2 days. Requested it since January. Just have to run to an interview at 10 AM. Will be back home in time for the first tip.

lol I been working with the same company since I was about 20 so approaching 7 years this summer. Just been moving to different locations. I was going to college at the same time up until 2012 when I graduated

Absolutely nothing dealing with my degree. It's hard out here. Senior Surgical Coordinator at one of the top hospitals in NYC.

Not what I went to school but the salary is pretty nice so can't complain.

I own my own biz so I have to work. You may say go ahead and take off since you own your own biz. Look at it this way. Take off as much time as you can afford. I'll be checking in to tHoop for all updates and knowledge though.
