:laugh3::laugh3: So now it was "tongue in cheek"!! It's only taken Heat fans almost 4 years to add THAT excuse to the list!!:laugh3:

I suppose when Lebron and D-Wade were making fun of Nowitzki being sick, that was "tongue in cheek" too!!

Trojan man I've been saying that all along even way back on the CBS boards. If you actually think LeBron was up there saying they were gonna win 8 titles then you take life way too seriously.

Gotta love when Lakers fans use this ring argument in every debate. Nobody is debating who is better franchise. Chances are that if your franchise existed 40+ yrs before another franchise that you would be the more successful franchise but as Flague said nobody is debating who is the better franchise

The 2012 & 2013 Heat lost 7 games while the 98 Bulls lost 6 games (remember the first round was shorter back then) and the Heat win % in 2012 & 2013 was higher than the 98 Bulls in the playoffs. The 1992 Bulls went 15-7

The 2000 Lakers went 15-7 while the 2009 & 2010 Lakers had the same exact postseason record as the 2012 & 2013 Heat which was 16-7.

Basically the Bulls teams were more dominant than the Heat outside of the 98 Bulls but the Lakers were only dominant in 2 of their 5 titles. In their other 3 titles they either had a lower winning % or the same winning % in the playoffs as the 2012 & 2013 Heat

You can talk percentages all you want: Spurs don't mess up a 5 point lead with less than 30 seconds to go and/or Kawhi Leonard makes that free throw and the story would be completely different. THAT'S what I mean with Spurs lost it; the Heat didn't win it.

The Pacers quite obviously will face the mighty Wizards in the Eastern Conference Finals... might even sneak away with a series win if the ball bounces their way. And the Heat have to get their rings NOW before the inevitable Wiz Dynasty.. can't blame them at all for gettin' it while the gettins good.

(lol... hey, gotta trump the team.. gotta be me)

On a serious note, it's still hard for me to back away from the Spurs as the team the Pacers meet should they get to the NBA Finals. Everytime I count the Spurs out as too slow, or too old, or too this-and-that, they find a way to surprise me. Out there in the wild wild west... who the hell knows? It'll probably all boil down to who has the hot hand and momentum in June.. no matter what their record or seeding.

You and everyone else. I swear, if the end of the world happens, all that will left are cockroaches and the San Antonio Spurs!!

Actually, going back to the original topic, the "mother fucking threat" are the Indiana Pacers now.

And its got the poor little heat fans running scared.

not really. we were going to get beat by the bulls in 2011. after all.. they had the MVP Derek Rose and they were up 1-0 in the ECF and dominated us all season.

then were going to lose in 2012 to the C's. Down 3-2.. losers of 3 in a row.. going into boston. Miami couldnt beat them in the regular season either.

then were going to lose to the pacers in 2013. then they got taken out behind the woodshed in game 7.. then it was the spurs. after all, they were a true dynasty. built the right way. down 3-2. down 5 points with 28 seconds left. Not happening.

This run will end eventually. sure. but im just not that worried about the pacers. barring injury we will beat them (again).

Also, you honestly think someone is a dick for having a party and celebrating?

People in this world are WAY to sensitive. I wouldnt care if the Lakers had a party after Gasol. I dont get why anyone would. Thinking people were dicks for having parties.. ive heard it all.

Yet, the Heat and there fans were bitching because everybody hated them. I guess everybody was in their feelings.

They haven't backed it up though. It was not 1, not 2, not 3.....all the way to what? 7? 8? And they didn't even win it in the 1st season together.

Looks like they're going to fall pretty far short of that 7 or 8 thing too. They're going to have enough trouble getting the 3rd.

Well they can't win 2 in one year. :laugh3:

Y'all are criticizing them and yet you don't let them finish. Most likely they won't get 6 or 7 or even close. But if you win 3 in 4 years that doesn't happen very often. Lakers and Bulls in what the last 25 years.

Who hit those 3's again? Who grabbed those offensive rebounds again?

I guess you base your life on if's. They might of lost it, but they sure didn't win it. Really the only thing that matters in the end...if only...

IF derek fisher and robert horry aren't clutch how many rings do the lakers have?

Isn't if fun how laker fans forget that but then bring up the Heat being clutch?

Oh cool.. the 16 title thing again. Is that the default argument when laker fans start making no sense? Cool you have 16 titles.. some from the 40s/50s and in Minneapolis. 11 from before Miami was even a franchise. Congrats. You won the argument over which team has the most titles.. which wasnt being argued. But you won it.
