MVP
Yea because landing Gasol is the same level as landing Lebron/Wade/Bosh
Two moves that ended in two championships for each team.
Main difference is the Lakers weren't dicks about it!

Comparing Gasol to The King.
Epic fail.
We are talking about possibly the best player ever. Cmon.
How many MVPs and Finals MVP has Gasol won? And dont use the term ended. The heat book is still open.
I don't remember a whole lot of heat fans starting threads about who they were going to play in the finals...
Also, you honestly think someone is a dick for having a party and celebrating?
People in this world are WAY to sensitive. I wouldnt care if the Lakers had a party after Gasol. I dont get why anyone would. Thinking people were dicks for having parties.. ive heard it all.
Also, you honestly think someone is a dick for having a party and celebrating?
And you don't think the Heat were cocky to celebrate before they had even stepped on court together?
No, they were the laughing-stock of sports fans everywhere.
the fact that you guys still can't figure how tongue in cheek that was is pathetic
Cocky.. absolutely. But dicks? No.
I grew up in south florida in the 1980s during the time of the great Miami Hurricane Dynasty. I love cockiness in sports. Athletes in general are cocky SOBs. Hard not to be cocky in your 20s when you have millions and never get told no.
not one.. not two.. not three..
that wasnt a prediction, that was a mother fucking threat.
At least they backed their shit up. 2 rings and almost 3 in 3 years. Yeah cockiness I don't like, but when you back it up it doesn't seem as bad.
Lets be honest here, yes the Miami Heat are the undeniable back to back NBA champions but they were far from impressive in the playoffs and finals. No where near as dominant as the 90s Bulls or the 2000s Lakers
As i've said before, the Heat didn't win; the Spurs lost.
Heat fans are nouveau riche trying to pretend like they've always been here. They've got a long, long way to go...
"What do all those jerseys and banners have to do with anything?" - Heat "fans"
Actually, going back to the original topic, the "mother fucking threat" are the Indiana Pacers now.
And its got the poor little heat fans running scared.
