Now that both of these guys are on the same team in their prime, with Curry already ahead of 1 ring and 1 MVP more than KD, who will end up higher in the Greatest of all time list? Discuss!

Probably Durant career wise. He was great at a younger age than Curry.

KD will have been the better player. Curry will have more accolades.

Right after their careers it will be all KD, but the more time that passes the more favorable Curry will be viewed.

Curry is 6 months older than Durant, so we can get a good statistical gauge of how they match up so far.

Durant 27.2 PPG 7.2 RB 3.8 AST.
Curry 22.8 PPG 4.4 RB 6.8 AST.

Durant averages 11 combined rebounds and assist per game, curry averages 11.2.
I value an assist as a bit more than a rebound, so it's statistically damn close overall .
Of course Curry's ball handling and Durant's interior defense factor in as well.

Durant is the better player, but over the course of time, Curry's shooting prowess will be hailed as legendary. We've all seen how legends grow, but Curry will go down as the greatest shooter of all time and will be viewed as such. Durant likely won't get his due because of his career, but Durant will have been the superior player.

So I think eventually most average people will list Curry as higher because of his accolades and his shooting. I'd say basketball historians will likely put Durant higher though on a GOAT list.
