I still think we end up with lee before its all said and done. I think after the phillies got blasted last night they want to move him and after the ass kicking we took last night I think Daniels realizes we have to do something.

Plus, billy Ripken on MLB channel sad this morning he's betting lee doesn't make his start tonight and will be traded.

Garza also doesn't do anything for me unless they can get him without touching the upper guys. The only person that I would be excited to get, on the pitching side at least, is Lee. There isn't anyone else that I would trust or be willing to pay a price for. I'd give Olt for Lee as long as they subsidize part of the contract. I just don't see it happening. So, I'm hoping we can get a bat. I haven't heard any big bat 1B available. Hairston would be nice to get here, would affect Youngs playing time though.

Not too optimistic about this deadline. The team needs help, but seems like all the rumors are that the phone calls start with "we want Olt and no one else". Even though every other buyer out there hasn't given up anything close to Olt or Profar. but for some reason it sounds like other GM's all think that since Olt isn't our #1 prospect, that he is a "must have".


Whatever happens, sure will be funny when we sign Grienke this offseason, LAA gets nothing for him, and we give up nothing as well.

Let me go ahead and put this out there, "the only person that would interest me is Lee on the pitching side"...except for King Felix as well.

I feel the price for Felix would be too darn high though. Can't lie and say I wouldn't be THRILLED to have him here though.
