Let me go ahead and put this out there, "the only person that would interest me is Lee on the pitching side"...except for King Felix as well.

I feel the price for Felix would be too darn high though. Can't lie and say I wouldn't be THRILLED to have him here though.

I have thought the same about both players in Lee and Felix. My question is what would it take to get King Felix? Profar and who else.....

Dodgers just got Victorino for a "long way to go" possible #2 who was 17th in the Dodgers farm and a BP arm that has pedestrian numbers and longball prone.

No way the Rangers could have picked him up for our #17 and someone like Lowe though. I still have that feeling that JD is running into the "well, we want Olt or nothing" wall for every player they call about.

With most clubs you can ask for their #2 to #3 prospect (depending on the day) and be ok. Texas is a victim of its own development program (and maybe some hype).

Jim Bowden of ESPN.com and MLB Network Radio on Sirius XM reports that the Dodgers are getting Ryan Dempster from the Cubs.

It's not a done deal quite yet, as the two sides are working on the finishing touches, but an agreement is expected before Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET deadline. It's not clear who the Cubs will get in return. Dempster, an impending free agent, has a 2.25 ERA through 16 starts this year.

Tommy Joseph is headed to the Phillies as part of the Hunter Pence deal, according to CBS Sports' Danny Knobler.
The Double-A catcher played in the Futures Game and just turned 21. Pegged as San Francisco's fifth-best prospect by MLB.com, Joseph hit .260/.313/.391 at Richmond prior to the proposed deal. He was the Giants' second-round pick in 2009.
