I'm going to go with Jonathan Taylor as the best RB this season. I think adding Matt Ryan to the team makes them a big sleeper. They made the post season two years ago with Rivers and missed out due to Wentz. I think Ryan is the missing piece and with Taylor already being a stud, opposing defenses will have to stack the line and leave the back end exposed and I think Ryan will hit those. Colts will give a swift kick to Tennessee and win the division.
Mostly agree though not sure I'd blame Wentz for missing the playoffs as he had a solid season. shit the bed in last game but so did the defense.

Derrick Henry until proven otherwise. Maybe he will be in full decline after his broken foot. I don't put much stock into that playoff game as his first game back early from that. It's fully possible that he isn't the same player anymore but until I see that across an entire season then he remains the best in my opinion.
The curse of the 370 carries season has struck again. He will continue to regress from over-use.

Probably true. Back to back seasons with 300 carries and 219 last season. RB's lives are short, especially when they are relied on too much. His only saving grace is he was a PT player his first seasons so he could have a few more seasons left.

Beast modes don't grow on trees.

Yeah, that is a tough one. He did throw 27 TD to 7 INT which is really good. However, when it really counted, he didn't get it done. Matt Ryan will get it done. He is starting his age 37 season, so I assume he is going to have another 2-3 good years left in him. Now is the time for the Colts to win a championship. I believe Ryan will get it done.

you cant draft on the past.
He's also played 5 seasons.....the average RB's career is 3.3.

He's fragile and he could be done. I wouldn't draft a RB who has played in 10 games in the last 2 seasons. Not even as a 3rd RB. It's a wasted pick.

So you are saying he is not a first round pick at all? lol.

Indy isn't winning a title.....they play in the stacked AFC.

Oh yeah, I'd definitely take Ryan over Wentz but as mentioned that D also failed in last game vs. Jville.

One thing to pass on him in round 1, but if you have already picked 2 RBs, 2 WRs and a QB and in round 6 he's there you are passing again?

Probably. You can't trust him to stay healthy and has already surpassed the average career of a RB. I don't think he's a guy who can bounce back. Highly skeptical.

Keneth Walker III …. I know it’s a homer pick, but I have a good feeling he’s gonna show some stuff!

Personal choice. Good for them, good luck with him staying healthy......LOL.

And I'm pretty good at FF, let me know how you do this season.

Do you really expect CM to fall out of the first round this year? Anything can happen but you made a super bold statement

Not to get in the middle of your debate, but this stat is a bunch of BS unless you are the union arguing salary.
If you had 30+ rookie RBs (draft & UDFA) & cut 15 to 20 of them. Then later some stick around on practice squads or ST's for a year may be 2 before circulating them out.
Sure this majorly brings down the average of a RB's career.

Now if you were saying a true starting RB's career was averaging 3.3 years. Then you might have a point.
