However, most don't ground out weakly when hitting off a tee.
Lots of #1 and #2 picks have either flopped entirely, or simply not lived up to the pick. Bowe, Oden, Bias, Thabeet, Milicic, Bagley, just to name a few…

If it's injury (or death in Bias' case), that's a separate matter entirely.

Reports he is going to GSW for Poole plus picks.

I am not (and never really was) a Poole fan, so on the surface, this doesn’t really perturb me too much. But Poole, just a year ago, had a rep as a future star. Now, the Dubs are dumping his co tract for a vet who is never healthy in the playoffs.

A lot of mistake-corrections for the Warrior front office the last few years (Wiseman, this)…

the only people that thought Poole was a future star resided in the bay area

Just watch, as the first option on a shitty team Poole probably scores 28-30 points a game and makes the all star team

He definitely had a rep not just locally that he was a rising scoring talent. He still is really. He just needed to go.

I didn’t expect him to end up where he did. I was thinking Lakers, maybe Denver

Of course.

But that is who he is.

A guy who can put up big numbers on a bad team, but doesn’t add much value to a good one.

Unless he finds the right group and embraces the Lou Williams type role he could excel in.

Just wasn’t good for GS because playing him with Curry was really bad defensively.

He doesn’t even try on defense. That is supposedly why he and Drey didn’t get along.

Steph is not a 1st team defensive player, but he TRIES and has become just barely a liability. Poole just wants the ball in his hands, pure and simple. Even on a team with 2 of the greatest shooters in the history of the game.

I have not seen anything official on this trade yet. If I didn’t listen to KNBR, I would have no evidence this trade even happened. It isn’t on ESPN.com. BasketballRef does not show it. WTF?

Same deal with Drey resigning. KNBR has been saying it as fact all weekend, but I don’t see anything official anywhere on the innerwebz.
