I've been reading the Raiders will not take less than a 2nd and maybe a player. We'll see how it goes down, but no idea who steps up.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Saints have been the “most aggressive” team in trade talks surrounding Davante Adams.

Per Tom Pelissero, Adams, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, may not return in Week 6 but should be healthy by Week 7. Pelissero also said other teams believe this situation is going to come to a head in the next one to two days. Adams played with Derek Carr in college and then again while on the Raiders after the Packers traded him to Vegas, making it a natural fit for the perenially win-now Saints. The Jets, of course, have interest as well. Their offense hasn’t exactly taken off under Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson’s breakout has been stymied by extra defensive attention plus an uncreative scheme from Nathaniel Hackett. Adding Adams to the mix would reunite him with Aaron Rodgers and could unlock Wilson in the process. The Steelers and Ravens also came up as interested parties.

Can the Saints even afford him though?
where there's a will there's a way

After today in London, can't see the Jets not being more aggressive.

If they don't get him..... Does Rodgers demand to trade him (Rodgers) to some other team?

I don't think the Bills should be interested unless the Raiders eat most of that salary. Bills could use a WR, but Amari Cooper is a much cheaper target for a team that just ate a bunch of money to move on from Diggs this season.

Well the Jets wouldn't have the headache that is Aaron Rodgers
Exactly. He's not exactly lighting the league on fire thus far either. I will put at least some of that on his hand-picked OC though. He's currently wasting Breece Hall as well.

They would be short-handed at QB this season if they did. Tyrod is a decent fill-in, but there's nothing behind him (I know nothing about Adrian Martinez, lol).

He was a pretty good Center in Dallas (especially last year), no reason he can't be an above average solid starter. He's still 26 too so he has upside and centers can usually play quite a while in the NFL.

I guess the Cowboys just couldn't afford to keep him? They have $22M in cap now, they prob. could've frontloaded his contract. I remember that signing and was a little miffed cause I was hoping Seattle would snag him. We got Williams which is a fine consolation prize but he was coming off an injury and a better run than pass blocker... and turns out Grubb thinks this is still college football and wants to pass every single fuckin' down. Whatever.

Ya,Adams is not making the Jets into a SB contender.....even if they sign DA,Baltimore will still stomp old man Rodgers ass.....the Jets oline is trash......
Time to retire before he gets killed out there......

One team rest of the NFL does not want to see trade for him......Baltimore.

But my guess still is KC......

once again... oops I posted in the wrong thread LOL

Cowboys drafted a rookie center who has been playing really well for them. For us, having a center with experience was an important part of what DQ and AP wanted for our rookie QB. Also an OC - KK - who meshed well and could create a workable and dynamic development path for Jayden , a running game (thus the Anthony Lyn hire as well as the Ekeler FA signing) and an experienced TE (Ertz FA signing) were all key players for the front office this year.

Thank god Danny Boy is gone.
