they want a 2nd + a solid player + the other team pay his whole salary. according to the Raiders no team has been close to that and there isn't any team likely to
I think he's too checked out of the locker room for them to not finally lower their price. time will tell

While the Raiders want to recoup as much as they can for him, can somebody tell me the last time a WR put a team over the top and made the difference in them getting to the Super bowl?

I get your point and it is rare. Emmanual Sanders on the 49ers is the best case I can think of. He changed our entire offense for that one season and led us to the SB.

And if Jimmy G doesn't overthrow him on that one play, the Niners win, Jimmy G is Super Bowl MVP, and he might still be their QB LOL

Lotta randomness in sports

Got to watch out for those Raiders

In the 1985 divisional-round playoff, LA Raiders linebacker Matt Millen punched New England Patriots GM Patrick Sullivan after the Patriots' 27-20 upset win. The altercation was reportedly sparked by Sullivan's trash talking about Raiders player Howie Long during the game.

And then the Bears punched him a couple weeks later............:dhd:

paying the remaining salary for this season and a 5th is the market

I still don't see teams doing that if it's just for the remaining salary this year..... Unless it's the Jets

I dont believe it is about game checks this year.
Its about the 2 BS years next year & the next.
Basically without redoing a contract this would be a rental year for a half season. No one is gonna give up a 2nd for a partial year. because no one is gonna pay him 35+mil per year the next two years.
