What separates Saban from the rest is that he recruits well, and they are coached up on top of it. You can see it in the NFL and with what scouts say about Alabama players entering the draft.

It's not really an either/or type thing. You can say that he has a great staff and all that stuff and that's why they are so coached up etc, but it's not like other HC's are out there teaching every little detail. He loses assistants constantly and still maintains and it's because he coaches the coaches.

That’s the process I am talking about. He is on top of every detail. He clearly been able to integrate assistants into the staff and his process. That is his greatest strength. The actual game day stuff is secondary to that

I forgot one. If Baylor beats Tech this weekend, I would actually put Matt Rhule on the list. It would be an amazing job if he got Baylor to a bowl in year 2. He inherited one the biggest messes ever.

WSU has won the apple cup twice in the last 10 years... both were OT wins and one of those was the 0-12 season UW had. So even in the worst year of any Pac12 team in league history the cougs STILL needed OT to pull off a win.

Over the last 5 meetings, all UW wins, They have outscored against the cougs 189-71

Cougs can't stop the run and neither of their lines have been able to do much against UW in any of their meetings.

Is this finally their year? Just because those who don't follow the teams believe it is doesn't make it so. Look a bit more closely at the teams WSU has played. Their OOC was pure shit and they've ran through what is maybe the worst Pac12 conf top to bottom of all time.
