And I voted for all of the top 4.

Point being, they are all modern era.

Today’s players aren’t getting votes over pure PG’s like Stockton and Kidd because today’s point guards are scorers.

There are very few true PGs left in the game.

Still a vast canyon in terms of skill level from a guy like Kidd to an old time player like Cousy.

And Kidd isn’t as skilled overall as the top lead guards today.

But I will take him as a passer. Which is what this poll is about.

Isiah, Bird and Magic could score. They could pass as well but obviously were not the only options on good teams. Definitely a different game with hardly any true centers or post game today

I am not saying there weren’t scoring PGs back in the day.

Isaiah is an example of a more modern scoring PG.

Magic I think was definitely pass first, but he certainly scored a lot too.

Stockton and Nash are similar to Magic in that they score because they were very good offensive players, but they were always looking to set up a teammate and run the offense as their first priority.

It is just different today.

Wondering why Jokic is on this list but Steph is not. Steph definitely wants to shoot but he also knows how to move the ball around as well as move without the ball.

He has some serious court vision

I think there are a few on the list less deserving than Steph.

As to why Jokic is?

Just haven’t ever seen a center do what he is doing.

Definitely a few from the past who probably could have been similar, like Sabonis or Chris Webber from the 4 spot, but they just weren’t afforded the same opportunity.

That and Sabonis was broken by the time he came to the NBA.

Considering that even broken Sabonis was pretty good in the NBA, prime Sabonis would likely be in the convo for greatest center of all time.

Was wondering more why Steph wasn’t on the list than I was why Jokic was
