Once again the Portland Winterhawks win the Western Conference and find themselves in the WHL finals. Could be a rematch of last years WHL finals if Edmonton can win.
With the recent success of the Winterhawks, Their popularity has grown a bit here in Portland. Continues to show that a NHL team, IMO, would thrive in Portland. Especially with people getting tired of the same old Blazer rhetoric.
