Couldn't watch the game, but it looks like we had a hitfest. Robert and Jimenez each with a jack and the Sox totalling 21 hits. Altho he escaped with no runs scored on him, it appears Gio was having trouble getting the ball over the plate. We can't keep relying on our pen having to pitch 5, 6 innings in a game, that's not gonna cut it. But thankfully our bats really woke up tonight.

Well so far it seems the second go around has produced better results for our rotation. In his second start, Giolito was lights out. It was hard for Keuchel to show improvement, since his first start was so good, but at least he maintained his bright showing from the first one. Granted, this was Gonzalez' first start technically, plus he was far from killing it last night, but at least he departed without surrendering a single run, so yeah, that's an improvement. Let's hope the second go around fortunes continue with Dylan.

Milestones abound for White Sox in victory

I don't know if its from little league or High School baseball team memories, but I am a sucker for watching White Sox players cutting up with each other.

There's a little zoom press conference at the link with Robert and Eloy. It's nice to know those two are going to grow up as pros together. Obviously - Eloy has appointed himself to keep Luis loose.

He had his best season with the stick last year, and it seems to have carried over. He's always been a pine brother favorite of mine. He's really not starting material due to the lack of a serious bat, but he makes for one hell of a sub or even in a platoon situation. Still one of the best, if not the outright best defensive outfielder in the organization, altho Robert might have a say about that.
