i see what you did there...YPC equals Yards per "catch" now... dont think that Flacco being sacked 48 times might just impact the YP "catch" huh?

It's obviously coming soon. Does Dallas wise up? Is it Buffalo now? Here are my guarantees:

1. It will absolutely be before preseason is over.

2. There will be more positive viewpoints on the signing than negative viewpoints meaning the PR hit will be minimal.

3. Ray Rice will help whatever team it is that signs him. The magnitude of help will depend on the situation he goes into (i.e. he makes Dallas a huge threat in the NFC).

He averaged 3.1 yards per carry in 2013 and got suspended for not just hitting, but knocking his girl out then dragging her "lifeless body" around. I think the wise teams are the ones staying away from him.

Not taking hits for a year is good for these older backs. If he was staying in shape (he might not have been , he said he was feeling depressed) he'll be good when he comes back. All that time to heal.

In a typical "yards per catch" scenario the player catching the ball is "downfield" where a halpess OL will have no impact other then getting there QB killed(48 sacks of Joe Flacco qualifies the Ravens OL for that). If the QB can just release the ball then its all on the receiver to make the YAC.

However, in an instance where the receiver RR in this case catches the ball either behind the line or at the line in most instances the OL has a dramatic impact on the receivers performance and YAC. In fact they are dependent upon the quick release or throw of the QB then the release of the OL.
