Which Super Bowl winning team had the worst offense? Which Super Bowl winning team had the worst defense?
Easily the worst offense of the SB winners in my lifetime. Von Miller was hugeWorst offense: Maybe those Manning Broncos?
The 1979 Rams might give them a run for their money in terms of offensive suckage.Worst offense: Maybe those Manning Broncos?

It got hot/healthy at the right time IIRC. Only gave up 14pts a game in the playoffs2011 Giants come to mind as a weaker D that won the Super Bowl

Ah, fair point. The thread is Super Bowl winners.
So this is actually interesting because technically the 90 Giants scored fewer points than the 15 Broncos but because they were in different eras, the Giants were 15th in offense and the Broncos were 19th.The 1990 Giants had a pretty underwhelming offense. Their best player on that side was an aging Ottis Anderson. The QB was largely irrelevant in that offense given they were able to win the Super Bowl with a backup who hardly played over six seasons.
If I'm not mistaken, the '06 Colts were the worst rush defense in NFL history. So this is actually interesting because technically the 90 Giants scored fewer points than the 15 Broncos but because they were in different eras, the Giants were 15th in offense and the Broncos were 19th.
Maybe worth mentioning that the 06 Colts defense was total garbage without Bob Sanders and elite Super Bowl winners with him. Entering in the playoffs, it was trendy to pick the Chiefs beating that Colts team in rd1 because that Colts team was supposed to be one of the worst run defenses in football.
not no more panthers set record last year 3057If I'm not mistaken, the '06 Colts were the worst rush defense in NFL history.
Not just in total yards, but yards per game as well.not no more panthers set record last year 3057![]()
2015 Broncos immediately come to mind as a weak offense that won the Super Bowl

That offense was solid outside of QB. Its just that when you have Trent Dilfer its pretty easy to list them. The 2000 Ravens have to be in there. Brian Belick's, Trent Dilfer Offense was pretty bad.
All I know is that if you would've given Sean McVay Trent Dilfer, a good oline, Jamal Lewis, Shannon Sharpe and some alright WRs then you'd have a top 5 offense.True indeed on all points Clayton!
