Gotta go with the Falcons. Lockette comes down the the ball and we aren't talking about the play call. Just like the silly toss to Bennett that could have been picked last night.

Falcons pissed away SEVERAL opportunities to put it away.

I gotta say Atlanta. There's a difference between play calling when you're protecting a lead, and play calling when you have to score a TD. 3 offensive series of crap from Atlanta is worse than one bad play call.

I give equal boneheadedness for the 2014 Seahawks loss. Carroll's bone head play call and Wilson's bone head pass for the interception.

Falcons take the crown for this meltdown however.

when you are up 25 late in the 3rd and you lose, that choke is epic and may never be duplicated

Gotta go with Pats just being better.

Coaches all part of the team. Team game.

Pats as a whole are better than both.

Seems simple.

Biggest Choke Job was 1974 Notre Dame vs USC. In Less than 17 Minutes USC turned a 24-0 Deficit into a 55-24 Win.

Atlanta was actually a choke. Like when Denver and KC played the first time earlier in the season, you have to manage the end of the game right or else a team can come back.

The Seahawks thing wasnt a choke. It was a risky call. Like when Brady used play action to throw a ball next to the goal line towards Vic Beasley who is maybe one of the 20 best athletes in the NFL. If Beasley catches that, then we are having the Seattle conversation all over again.

NE defended ATL well, but imo, they defended an ill advised series of plays. If ATL runs the ball straight into the line 3 times, each one could've been defend well, but they most likely still are able to attempt a 42-45 yd FGA to go up to scores.

There is some truth to it. Atlanta putting up a bunch of points in one quarter and then being average for the rest of the game is actually pretty on par with what they did all season.

New England was just executing poorly in the first half and Atlanta's defense was playing better than expected. Eventually Atlanta's D wore down and New England made plays and outcoached ATL.

Ipso fatso, the Pats collectively were better than Atlanta, top to bottom.

They overcame the same exact things that sunk Seattle and especially GB. Spotted Hot Lanta a huge lead and then stomped them.

Then why were they in a 28-9 hole in the 4Q?

Just wanted to make it interesting? LOL...you're too much...LOL

On both of these games I placed two bets. Teasers. Pats and the over and Pats and the under.

Won all four of them. God bless Tom Brady.

It's definitely the Falcons. Not just saying that because I'm a hawk fan either.

Any team can screw up 1 play in a critical spot. Plus the fact that they won the year before lessened the blow slightly.

Meanwhile the Falcons mishandled multiple plays and blew an enormous lead. Plus you factor in that they still haven't won one. Brutal. I do feel terrible for Falcons fans today

Good points made, and you've convinced me to change my vote. The sum of all the blown chances the Falcons had to ice that game is greater than the one mindblowingly stupid call the Seahawks made. If the question were "what is the worst play call in Super Bowl history", then the Seahawks would take it.

All the Falcons needed to do after that Jones catch was run it 3 times, force the Pats to burn their timeouts and kick a FG. Not even Brady I don't think brings them back from an 11 point hole with around 3 minutes left and no timeouts.

They won didn't they? Did they not overcome an Int and a fumble? Just like GB had and could not?

I say again, top to bottom, which includes the coaches, the Pats must be better.

To say otherwise would be "too much"......

But they didn't. Because the coaches which are part of the team fucked up. Just like you Canal Pheasants stuffed it up 2 years ago.

So Pats better top to bottom.

Ifs and ands are nothing more than that......
