First thing Fowler gives no source and Fowler isn't connected to the Seahawks or have viable sources inside the Seahawks. Secondly "have discussed the possibility" is plum silly because I;m sure the Seahawks have discussed hundreds of players they never end up with and exactly when was this discussion? The only scenarios I see a Jimmy G trade to Seattle is:

A) Seattle simply overpays in a trade and it's clearly the best offer they have.

B) Seattle is basically the only team interested and they know if they cut him he'll go to Seattle so if he's going to wind up a Seahawk anyways you might as well at least get something for him.
